Toftøyvågen
59°16,15’N 05°39,99’E. If you have crossed Nedstrandsfjorden or Boknafjorden from the south or are coming from the north through Karmsundet, the Toftøyvågen bay is a great place to rest. This bay has easy approach from the southwest or south, but mind the cable crossing the bay (19 m). The tiny island Børøya provides shelter, so there is fairly calm even in southern winds. An old small pier is set up at the head of the bay, but you also can moor to the rocks or swing at anchor. Along the shore you will find old boat-landings and a boathouse ruin. On the east side of the bay, south on Toftøy, an impressive stone staircase leads from the bay towards the hill where you'll find a farm and beautiful cultivated land (Show consideration, you are on private land).
